Evening Safety & Rescue

Come join us for this 2 hour evening session focused on safety and rescue!

If you want to build confidence on the water and in your kayak this session is for you.  Learning basic safety and rescue techniques will ensure you and your paddling friends get out on the water and are prepared.  This evening beginner-training session will introduce assisted and unassisted rescue techniques as well as work on balance and control in your boat. There will be some discussion on land, but the majority of the session is on the water! Taking our Kayak FUNdamentals session is a great addition to this session to increase your confidence on the water.  Most folks participating in both of these evening sessions feel confident heading out on short day paddles on PEI rivers and small bays. This course is also a great opportunity to brush up your skills.
