Basic SUP Skills

This 3 hour Stand Up Paddling training course introduces the beginner to everything you need to know for getting started on enclosed sheltered waters and calm conditions. Skills covered include gear basics, launching, landing, forward & turning strokes, and safety awareness.

Paddle Canada certification is available!

What to bring:

  • SUP & Paddle
  • Water bottle & snacks
  • Comfortable non-cotton clothing (quick drying)
  • Sun protection: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, long sleeves
  • Change of clothes
