Lee Richardson

Lee Richardson is a sea kayaking instructor & guide for Cloud 9 Adventures and SKILS and a professional sports coach. His academic achievements include degrees in Environmental Science and Education. A love for outdoor activities and adventure sports led him to sea kayaking in 2009, and soon after he joined the Ocean River team, where he found a home to pursue his passion of teaching sea kayaking. He currently owns Richardson Sport Inc. in Victoria, is the founder of EcoQuest Adventures (www.ecoquestadventures.ca).

His expertise in this field has him consulting as a staff trainer for other companies in the recreation industry. Lee currently holds certifications of Paddle Canada Level 4 Skills, and Paddle Canada Sea Kayak Level 3 Instructor. and Paddle Canada Basic Instructor Trainer. Lee Has experience coaching all over the world and is excited to bring his expertise to the sport. He enjoys rough water paddling, taking his family on kayak trips throughout Vancouver Island, and kayak fishing. Recently he has picked up riding dirt bikes with his boys.
